HUGE difference between them. 3 pro always broadcasts the remote ID while 4 pro doesnt when its under 250gr

So what about just buying the hand controller and viewing the flight path on the regular RC controller. That would save buying the Goggles? Is this possible?

you dont show that maps to do the waypoint your just showing the mission you have done

Im using the Mono Safety feature but I only find one really quiet mono track in the files. When I bring it into Resolve, it says its mono with only one channel? When I record, I only have 1 transmitter out and the other in the case. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? All the firmwares are updated and this is a brand new DJI MIC 1.

Hey, I have all of them! I already had a Mini 3, and a Mini 4 Pro, a month ago added the Avata 2 Fly More kit! Enjoying them all. Was going to initially fly the Mini 4 with the goggles apprehensive about the goggles/controller setup. Ended up flying Avata in garage for a week, then went outside. 14+ flights with Avata is so awesome. Now want to try the Mini 4 primarily because of the obstacle avoidance like you just talked about. Can’t wait, and your video is still playing while you fly! Thanks for the great posts!

Great vid. One thing to add to your video. During the video you said that you need to “somehow” hide the wireless mic with the front having the bright rode logo. In the package there are two black stickers that come with it. You can use those to stick it on the front of the mic to black it out. I placed that sticker a little higher so it would also dim the lights more. Hope this is helpful. And I agree with another comment I saw. Rode should use your videos for their tutorials.

I chased a Black Bear today with my Mini 4 Pro & Goggles 2... it's awesome, I fly full on FPV drones too, but this with the motion controller is great.

I recently bought a DJI Mini 4k about 1 week ago and removed the limit from 120M to 500M. So now I have my drone declassified, even after January 1, 2024. Do I need a label? Cx or C1 to fly in A1 or A3 subcategory? Will I continue to receive brand updates?

Thanks for the video! Anyone know why using the button on the side to start and stop video recording on my iPhone may not be working? I have it mounted and plugged it. It’s recording audio when I hit the record button, but when I hit the top button it isn’t controlling the video record function on my phone. Thank you.

Fantastic guide 😊 I have a issue with my Googles for the avata 2 and that is that I cant get a perfect focus no matter how much I try.. The corners are hard to see just barely can see the battery % in the right corner but everything else is pretty good. Basicly I can t see the hole screen to the edges..Do you have the same issue or maybe a tip to fix it? I Tried to reduce image size to 80% but that didnt help much either. Maybe this is how it is with all of them Googles for avata 2 ?

Even if you master flying this drone and become a professional, there is still a 50% chance of it falling due to a technical defect in the drone itself. Therefore, my advice to everyone is do not fly it over the sea, over forests of trees, or over crowded buildings, and if you want to fly it at night, make sure that it does not exceed a distance of 100 meters and that it is within sight. Your eye, because it may fall out at any moment due to an error in the drone system

Thank you Mats. A lot of information. My wife & I just finished a 3000 picture Scandinavian Tour and I am using iMovie to assemble our story. We will narrate the pictures with the DJI Mic 2 and use that audio on the video. I just broke through the cellophane on the Mic2 box, so your video is extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed Stockholm - you have a beautiful city. Sadly, the City Hall was closed on the day we tried to view it. Several weddings in progress, though. How will the proposed ban reflect on DGI's ability to fix it?

I have replaced at least a dozen sets over the past 2 yrs. Now, when possible, I dab a bit of crazy glue on the separating area= seems to work fine..

I usually am flying my drone over water and while the obstacle avoidance on my Mini Pro 3 saved me on a number of occasions previously, I would not rely on obstacle avoidance alone due to the risk of it not avoiding small obstacles like thin branches. I unfortunately recently lost my Mini 3 Pro over in a river by stupidly flying it sideways into some trees causing it to fall into the river. My DJI Care policy had just expired and I'd forgot to renew it, doh! I was going to upgrade to the Mini Pro 4 for the sideways obstacle avoidance and the360 tracking but I'm now inclined to instead buy another Mini 3 Pro which I can get for less than half the price of buying a Mini 4 Pro if I just buy the drone (I already have the RC controller, ND filters and 4 remaining batteries for the Mini 3 pro).

First I finally get my Mini 4 Pro after flying 41 times with my Mini 3 Standard, and being happy but having a hard time keeping my target in view as I fly around it. THEN I find out there is support with the 4P for waypoints! THEN I find this video and wow! I am ready to retire and spend the rest of my free time flying! THANK YOU SIR! I cannot WAIT to watch ALL of your videos and I sincerely thank you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. DEFINITELY subscribed, definitely liked, and absolutely saved. NICE JOB!!! I've been trying to figure out how to do internal recording on this mic without the RX unit for over an hour now. The DJI Help site is totally useless. Did a UA-cam search and found you. Solved my problem in about 5 minutes. WELL DONE SIR!!! THANK YOU!!!

First, excellent tutorial. Thanks you. An observation and a comment. From my limited experience, I noticed the drone will start turning (in direction) immediately to whatever the NEXT waypoint is telling it after going past say the first waypoint. But for speed, it won’t change until you actually hit that next waypoint. So I had to adjust based upon that. Meaning if I wanted to view a POI #1 at waypoint three and a different point of interest (POI #2)at waypoint 4, my expectation was it should stay locked on POI #1 UNTIL I get to waypoint 4. But that won’t happen unless I put POI #1 for both 3 AND 4. Speed as I mentioned will change immediately. My question is what happens if it encounters an object on route. You say it hovers to a stop regardless of how I have the obstacle avoidance. So it will stay there hovering until either I change the direction or the battery runs down to the point where it deems I needs to do a RTH? Thank you

Just wondering. Why does it only have 1 single audio output , when it records on 2 microphones? I just assumed that it would be 2 audio tracks in premier. But... no?! How inconvenient! It would be grate to record background sounds and different sound layers that you could later adjust in edit! Do you know if this is an option on a higher price class of rødes ? any thoughts?

Thank you for this informative video. For some reason, I got the latest update just a couple of days ago and I was surprised when I the same day should use Active Track to follow me on my bike. I hadn't seen the Auto Mode before, but selected it. That was a mistake. The actions the drone was made to do was all over the chart (and I don't know what all of them means). I got Hold, Helix, and Proxie and the drone soon lost sight of me. Honestly, can't see what the Active Track Auto function may be good for. Hopefully I will find more information on this, but your video was a great start.

Someone said waypoints were available across the entire line of drones. My Mini 2 does not have the function. At least not in the DJI Fly app. Maybe in 3rd party apps via the SDK?!?
